Veterinary Technician

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to work with animals. My parents joke that my first sentence as a toddler was “I want a pony”. I grew up with a dog named Max, and a cat named Rascal.

When I was 17, I was placed at a clinic in Toronto during my high school co-op. I ended up working there for 7 years, where I learned a lot of my skills. I went from kennel staff to veterinary technician. From that clinic, I went to a few more clinics which really opened up so many opportunities for me to learn from the most amazing people.

I was so amazingly lucky to find a clinic that fits everything I want to see in a clinic. The staff is so wonderful and caring, puts the animals first and the medicine practiced is extremely thorough. I am very grateful to be a part of such a lovely team.

My husband and I have two wonderful children, 3 cats (Purricane, Kato and Sixer), a rescue dog from Dominican (Odin) and a Syrian Hamster named Hamsty.
