This year we at Aurora Animal Clinic have decided to sponsor Shades of Hope Wildlife Refuge with our Holiday nail trim donations. They are a registered charity and licensed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Canadian Wildlife services, servicing the GTA and beyond! They treat and rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife and release them back into the wild!
From now until Christmas, call us to book a nail trim for either $10 donation (cash only please) or bringing in an item off of this list:
- Bird feed
- Dove seed
- Ensure (Strawberry flavour)
- Peanuts (in shell, unsalted)
- Timothy Hay
- Heavy non-tippable ceramic dishes
- Laundry detergent
- Dish Soap
- Bleach
- Paper towels
- Heat Lamps, warming pads
(Due to limited storage space at the facility, please do not donate towels/blankets)
With the cash donations we receive we will be buying medical supplies for the centre (i.e. VetRap, bandaging supplies, catheters, Oxbow Critical Care, etc.) as well as fresh products (i.e. eggs, mealworms, etc.).
