Rachael Russell, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician
I have always had a love for animals. One summer when I was young, my dad found an injured mole at our farm and brought it in for me to see. I rushed it to the local animal shelter, but sadly it passed. At that moment I knew I wanted to work in the veterinary field. I did my high school co-op studies at the local animal shelter and applied to the Veterinary Assistant program at Seneca College. I completed the program with honours, as valedictorian of my class and went on to continue my studies in the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca.I started here at Aurora Animal Clinic first as a co-op student and later came on part-time as an animal care assistant in 2016. Since then I have graduated from the Veterinary Technician program and began working full time as part of the technician team here at AAC. I am also the proud owner of a fun loving Boston Terrier, Jackson.
