Emily always had a love and passion for animals and knew it would be her career path. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Zoology. Shortly after graduating, she began working at an animal shelter. She fell in love with rescue work and spent the last 12 years feeling incredibly privileged and honoured to be entrusted with caring for and finding adoptive families for thousands of homeless and neglected animals.
Emily began working at the Aurora Animal Clinic in 2024. She is looking forward to this new chapter in her life and is excited about meeting new animal friends and helping them feel their best!
Emily has always had cats at home, and more recently a doberman. She has continued her love for rescue by fostering cats and is currently enjoying getting to know her newly adopted rescue cat Dougie.
